Godwin effectively reads the stick and positions himself well in relation to the shooter, covering a large portion of the net. His positioning is very intentional, and he demonstrates a good understanding of the game and a high Lax IQ. He reacts really well to close shots and has soft hands. I like his patience when clearing the ball, he has a solid outlet pass. Additionally, he has the speed to make plays outside of the cage.
