The lefty from Bergen Catholic put together an impressive showing at The Preview, finishing with three goals and an assist against BBL. Each goal showcased a different layer of his offensive skill set. His first came in transition, using a subtle head fake to freeze the goalie low before finishing high. The second displayed his dodging ability and on-the-run shooting, perfectly placing a shot to the goalie’s off-stick hip. His final goal was a step-down from the lefty wing—a shot defined by hip rotation, deception, and power.

What stands out most about Chang is his ability to generate velocity while hiding his stick from the goalie. With his smooth mechanics, deceptive shooting, and versatility as a lefty scorer, Chang has the tools to develop into a high-impact player at the high school level and beyond.
