Expert Analysis
Anthony Fortuna | Prep Lacrosse Scout
Alex Trette performed at a very high level for ADVNC at the Adrenaline Blackjack Classic. He can score from just about anywhere on the field and consistently makes the most of his opportunities. Many of his shots have some real heat behind them, and he also has ice in his veins. Evidenced by his game-winner in OT over True Lacrosse Illinois in the semifinals. Considering his talent and size, he should absolutely be on college coaches’ radars (if he isn’t already)

Trette represented the West at the New Balance All-America Games, where he tallied a couple of goals and an assist. In the spring, the 6’2, 205-pound attackman posted 69 points (52 goals, 17 assists) for De La Salle. With his frame, he’s a tough assignment—he absorbs contact well and powers through slides. He can unleash heavy step-downs with pinpoint placement, and off-ball, he’s deceptively elusive near the crease, slipping into pockets of space defenders don’t account for. Trette’s physical tools and finishing ability make him a high-ceiling prospect college coaches will want to see more of.
