He has nice awareness and is quick to break down when playing on the ball, leading with his stick when closing the gap, and getting physical when he needed. His poke check was accurate and controlled, as well as his lift check, making life hard for whoever was being defended. Keown is steady and fundamental and can carry the ball under pressure.

Smith has a strong lift check and an accurate stick, which he used on multiple occasions in the games I watched. He snagged plenty of ground balls when he was supporting at the faceoff. When he was on the field in transition, he had the ball a lot and made quality decisions when clearing with it, scoring on one attempt. Schuler has quick feet and a solid breakdown, and he utilizes a formidable poke check as well.

Luelleman stood out because he seemed to come up with the ball whenever he was on the field. If the ball was on the ground with multiple people around, he was a good bet to end up with it. He was a consistent outlet on clears and looked comfortable carrying the ball down the field and under pressure. Keep an eye on this 2027.

Carrico made some great low-reaction saves within five yards, showcasing his excellent hand-eye coordination and quick hands.
