In what has become one of my favorite events of the recruiting calendar, the Long Island Summer Showdown once again took place in Central Islip, N.Y., attracting gobs of recruiters and top club programs to finish off the club season in style.

Unlike a lot of events, this one's schedule staggered juniors and seniors, so 2025s played in the morning into the early afternoon, and with a brief overlap, 2026s played all afternoon into the early evening, allowing everyone to get a taste of both age groups instead of having to sacrifice one for the other.

Here's a look at a few of the rising senior attackmen who caught my eye — check back later this week for more content from the event, including breakdowns of the top Long Island talent from New York scout Jared Valluzzi.

After a junior season in which he posted 25 goals and 18 assists for the Flyers, Kuttin continued showing off his high-level lacrosse IQ and feeding ability in his squad's final club tournament. A smooth operator who always has his head up looking to feed, he also showed off his goal-scoring ability. He had a no-look backhander and then followed that up by beating his guy cleanly off the dodge to finish with two goals and an assist in the game I watched. There's a lot of offensive talent heading to Homewood these next two seasons, and Kuttin is the most prototypical QB type. I can't help but think he's bound to contribute especially if he commits to the weight room upon his arrival.

Viewed as one of the better attack prospects in the '25 class, Mason has steadily developed since last summer. A fearless dodger, he has a powerful build and uses it to his advantage when applicable, often initiating contact and powering his way to the rack. At his best when dodging from the wings, there are times when he's a volume shooter, but he consistently gets to high-percentage areas and isn't afraid to attack poles.

A creative scorer who finishes with flair, Robertson played some of his best lacrosse last week and had defenses on high alert. The Wyoming native is remarkably two-handed and scored both ways, as there's no dropoff between his left and right hand. Armed with a quick first step, he's got excellent hands and a full bag of tricks in terms of his deception and dodging repertoire. I've seen him excel at either position, though my guess is he'll play midfield for the Statesmen.

A year after putting on an show at the event, Langtry was back at it last week, playing less than an hour away from his future college home. From his footwork to his release to his shot, everything Langtry does is fast. He dodges with poise and confidence, attacking his matchup every chance he gets and never forcing anything. Langtry is crazy explosive out of his rollback and shoots a heavy ball. He's an absolute steal for Hofstra, committing to Seth Tierney's program last fall after turning down at least one Final Four team among a slew of suitors.

The type of player that defenses have to account for at all times, Deliberti was ridiculous in a four-goal outing that featured this beauty with his back to the goal.

A joy to watch, Deliberti was always at the end of plays and proved to be dynamic with how he was able to score. He's known to be an excellent shooter and shot a heavy ball with precision. However, he was dangerous as a dodger, too, getting up the hash with relative ease before finding the back of the net. Deliberti also scored on the ride, intercepting a clearing pass and finishing when 1-on-1 with the goalie. After putting up huge goal totals the last few years on Long Island, expect another massive spring from Deliberti before he heads off to Columbus.

What has always stood out about Fuller is his comfort and ability to play just about any role within an offense and dodge from anywhere and everywhere. Listed as an attackman, he's at his best when dodging above the cage and will almost come out of the box at Princeton. At Summer Showdown, Fuller showed off his shake and footwork, routinely blowing by his man with an outstanding burst of speed.
