earned CHSAA (5A) 2nd Team All-State for the Knights in 2024. He posted 60 points & 36 ground balls as a sophomore. Kai was named 1st Team All-Conference in addition to being named the Team MVP. He led the team in scoring with 38 goals & 22 assists. Modica has eclipsed the 100-point mark in his first two seasons. He scored 31 goals & 11 assists in 2023 as a freshman. He is agile with a rapid change of direction to move goalies off of their line. Kai shoots the lights out with a 63% scoring rate. He is an impressive dodger who uses a unique blend of speed & quickness in his movement. Modica shows the ability to shoot & pass from behind the goal or up top down the alley. He operates at a high level off of the ball setting high screens & rolling down the hash with inside leverage finishing off of Pioneer action.
