2028 Mid-Atlantic Rankings: Introducing the Top 100 (FREE)
When the Prep Lacrosse National Top 100 rolled out more than two weeks ago, there were just 28 players who play their high school ball in Mid-Atlantic states represented, with Harrison Tyler, Danny Varone, Max Melchionni, and Noah Brown headlining the group and representing the Garden State. Three more five-stars were included from the region, and several of them are already off the board, with a handful set to announce this weekend.

As stated in Wednesday night's introduction to the Northeast Top 100:
"There's a common misconception among the public that if a publication doesn't rank a player in the Top 100 — or, by other metrics, give them at least four stats — evaluators aren't high on them.
Quite frankly, there's entirely too much depth and too many excellent up-and-coming lacrosse recruits on a national level for that logic to hold any water. That's why we've made it a point to expand our rankings to the regional level: to showcase just how much talent is coming out of each part of the country, especially the underrepresented West, South, and Midwest regions that we rolled out."
For this highly anticipated 2028 recruiting cycle, we decided to expand beyond the national rankings, given the fact that we've been evaluating this class closely since the fall, through the spring, and the all-important summer circuit. While there's no doubt that the Mid-Atlantic region's depth may not be what it's been in years past, dozens more players have earned a ranking, and will undoubtedly find collegiate homes in the weeks to come.
Beyond the 28 Mid-Atlantic juniors that were represented in the Top 100, the next group is headlined by players that narrowly missed nationally ranked status: goalies like Ben Pensy, Luke Robinson, and Matty McGinty, offensive stalwarts like Chase Fletcher and Beckett Mayfield, defender Maddox Green, and face-off specialist Mason Proctor, to name a few.
