In the New York State Class C Regional Final, Martini logged 1 goal, showcasing relentlessness riding through the wing and finishing under contest. His motor and willingness to get possessions highlight a blue-collar midfielder trait. With more consistent production, he could emerge on the recruit radar.

Dylan was the motor behind Wantagh’s explosive offense. He set the tone with relentless riding, including a key caused turnover that sparked a highlight play. His leadership and quick decision making were on full display all game, and his combination of hustle and skill makes him one of the county’s top seniors. Dylan finished with two goals and two assists for the game.

In a notable mid-January flip, the Black Knights secured a highly accomplished two-sport senior who had been committed to UAlbany since the fall of 2023. Martini is coming off a phenomenal football season, during which he racked up 1,976 rushing yards along with 35 touchdowns and was named the Tom Thorp Memorial Award winner as Nassau County’s top player. Despite being on the smaller side, he’s one of the most dynamic athletes on Long Island, helping the Warriors to a county title by racking up 58 goals and 18 assists. Impactful on the ride as well, Martini’s a fiery competitor who possesses excellent hands that allow him to finish with flair inside. He’s just as capable of stretching a defense with his big-time shot and has improved his overall game significantly. At West Point, he’ll reunite with his cousin Jake, who is spending the year at M.A.P.S.

Once again, Martini proved to be one of the most dynamic players on the field. His first step and ability to change speeds give him such an edge over defenders. In this event, he was winning his matchups and creating a bunch of chances for his team. Along with his quickness, he displayed his feeding and finishing. Martini drew slides and he was able to find his open teammates. He also had a flashy backhand finish around the crease in the second half. The Albany commit will be one of the best pure athletes in Nassau County the rest of the way.

is one of the top pure athletes in Nassau County and it will be on full display this spring. He creates a special duo with his brother Jake, a Cornell commit in the Class of 2024, and both of them will look to lead Wantagh to its first county title in quite some time. Dylan is great with both hands and showcased some amazing inside-finding abilities throughout his sophomore year and the summer circuit. Martini, who is headed to Albany, plays much bigger than he is. His motor is incredible whether it’s riding or making plays between the lines as a midfielder. His shooting ability has improved tremendously, and I think he’ll score in a variety of ways this season. Look out for him to be a great finisher inside and a terrific outside shooter.
