About Dirk

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

Highly coachable. Able to put feedback in to action quickly. I very much believe its WE not ME. If I make a mistake, I try to think like a goldfish, and quickly forget it, and be better on the next play.

What are you working to improve right now?

I am working on my hand speed and quickness of the ball. I do a lot of speed training and weights to help with this.

What are you looking for in a college program?

Community, culture, brotherhood are my number ones! I believe a strong team culture is what makes team successful- when you work as a team and show up for one another on and off the field, it reflects.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I enjoy playing golf. It helps me wind down and calms by brain. I love being around friends and family. Being outdoors over being inside is fun for me. I enjoy helping others in my community- I am really good with younger kids.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

Both of my parents are entrepreneurs- that is all I know. I have started my own lacrosse training here in my community with the younger kids- to help build lacrosse here in Indiana/Indianapolis. I would love to start my own business thats in the sports world somehow. Sports Management and entrepreneurship are my main focus right now.
