Kilpatrick is a two-year varsity starter who has been flying under the radar in southeastern Pennsylvania. One item that pops about Kilpatrick is his dominating play on the face-off wing. With his quickness, agility, and aggressive stick, Kilpatrick does a phenomenal job of tracking down the ball and then emerging from a crowd with possession. He will then use is speed and impressive stick skills to push the fast break deep into the offensive end. On defense, Kilpatrick excels at pursuing ball carriers on the perimeter. Kilpatrick will separate the ball from his opponent via heavy slap checks, crafty pokes, and can openers. This high-IQ pole is a fantastic team defender too. His slides, double teams and recoveries are always on point. Plus, Kilpatrick does an incredible job of navigating his way through screen action. Kilpatrick’s constant communication with his teammates helps keep his defensive unit connected.
