Popehn came in as a 9th grader in 2022 when there were some injuries on the Red Knights attack unit and he produced immediately, earning himself a role from then on out.  Popehn is a consistent shooter who gets to his spots and will consistently hit his open looks.  He also works well inside and has a good knack for finding room in tight spaces bringing an added dimension to his game.  Last year, Popehn had 39 points in a balanced and talented Benilde-St. Margaret’s offense and 2024 should be another productive year for him.
