Gribbon is a do-it-all type of player who operates primarily on the righty wing as an attackman but can be used in many ways. He plays incredible off-ball offense and will catch everything thrown to him on the crease. He is not afraid to get caught on defense as a midfielder either. His fearlessness is noticeable, as he embraces situations where contact is inevitable. You won’t see it in the box score but Gribbon has a clutch factor to him. He rises to the occasion in big games and does not get rattled. The play style reminds me of a Kavanagh: tough, crafty, athletic, and clutch. Guilford had a solid year in 2023 and reached the Class M state semifinals before being knocked out by Cheshire. Gribbon and the Grizzlies are due for another big year.
