The son of a longtime NFL lineman, Kuehl already passes the eye test at 6’2, the same height as his brother, Tyler, a former Under Armour All-American and current junior LSM at Penn. The younger Kuehl is another good-looking athlete who is expected to be in the mix for a spot on the Bulldogs’ second line or play both ways after impressing in the fall and playing hockey all winter. The smooth lefty has steadily improved in a short time, putting pressure on defenses with his vision, shake, and ability to consistently get back to the middle of the field for quality scoring chances. There’s much more to his game though, as Kuehl brings it when he’s on defense and has a knack for making the right play in transition.
