, for the past few seasons. The former Lindenwood commit was the only Minnesotan to be invited to the PLL high school combine, which was an event this fall for the top 50 high school lacrosse players in the country. On top of that, Carson crushed it at the highly touted Apex 60 event where he took home the offensive MVP award. If you thought his resume ended there, this year Carson broke Lakeville North’s all-time assist record tallying 35 goals and 37 assists so far this season at the time of writing. Carson is still up for grabs as far as his commitment goes so expect big news in the coming months as he begins his final club season with Team Minnesota. Click here to watch his highlights

Carson was another key piece of the electric Lakeville North offense in 2023. Different from his brother, Carson is a true set-up man who reads and analyzes the defense. He is a really good dodger who does most of this work from behind the goal. When he dodges, he not only beats his man and earns a slide, but he buys time to let the play develop and to let his teammates get open. When this happens, he has incredible vision and the feel to find the open player as evidenced by his state-best 57 assists last season – the next best player finished with 40 helpers. Finishing with 92 points and a state title a year ago, Carson will continue to lead the Panthers in 2024.

Carson and his twin brother, Blake, originally decided on Lindenwood in September but re-opened their recruitment following the school’s sudden announcement that the program would be discontinued after the 2024 season. Having watched Carson for the first time in person last weekend, he’s certainly a D1-caliber recruit worthy of another opportunity.
He carried the rock with confidence and was most dangerous as a feeder, zipping precise skip passes to his teammates on several occasions. I loved the creativity that Piscitiello played with, and it’s clear that he knows himself. Sure, he may not win many foot races, but he has such a knack for knowing exactly when and how to use deception to get his hands free along with a great understanding of spacing and off-ball play.
