Expert Analysis
Carey Smith | Prep Lacrosse Scout
This fleet footed, ball hawk of an LSM caused havoc all over the field at Summer Cup. Bendis was a tenacious on-ball defender who used slap checks, pokes and the occasional can opener to put the ball on the ground. Bendis also used his active stick to deflect or intercept passes. His speed and agility enabled Bendis to track and then secure ground balls in traffic. As a bonus to his defensive skills, this rising sophomore also proved to be an effective transition player. Bendis displayed that he could pash the ball deep into the offensive end and then use his polished stick skills to distribute while on the run.
