Delaware Valley '28s and '29s Who Will Have An Impact This Spring

Below is a preview of five young buck prospects (C/O 2028 or 2029) from the Delaware Valley (SEPA; Delaware and South Jersey) who we expect to have an impact during the upcoming high school season.    Ciccarone is a versatile pole who proved during 2025 fall ball action that he could be a force at the defensive end this spring. One item that really pops about Ciccarone's game is his ability to patiently match feet with a ball carrier and turn him multiple times until the offensive player coughs up the ball or moves it to a teammate. Ciccarone's active stick and physicality are major factors in this impressive skill set. This 2029 prospect's speed, agility and stick skills make him a ground ball machine. Those GB skills combined with his ability to push to the fast break enable Ciccarone to excel as a face off wing. Once he gets below the restraining line, Ciccarone is a legitimate threat to fire on net. As a close defender, Ciccarone has demonstrated a solid understanding of team defensive strategies as well as when to execute slides and double teams.     Devito is an athletic, fleet footed and agile offensive prospect who can play at attack or midfield. With his speed and sharp change of direction moves, Devito thrives in transition as well as coming out of the box and then pushing the pace. In 6v6 action, Devito can initiate from anywhere in the offensive end. His quick first step as well as crafty spins and cutbacks make Devito difficult to defend 1v1. Once Devito gets his hands free, he will crank a shot while on the run. With his quick release, Devito only needs a sliver of space to fire on net. Devito's poise and field vision make him a fantastic distributor too. He will patiently carry the ball deep into the box before delivering a precise dime to a teammate on the back post. Additionally, Devito has demonstrated that he can feed cutters from X.     Karetsos exploded onto the recruiting scene during his amazing freshman campaign as he posted 49 goals to go along 33 assists. His incredible efforts in 2025 helped push ACCHS to 20 wins, the District XI title and the PIAA 2A state semifinals. Karetsos is a lefty attack who can snipe from GLE or the wing. His quick release and ability to change levels makes his shot impossible to stop. Karetsos has demonstrated an incredible feel for setting up these shot opportunities via drifts or sweeps into open space. He will also execute a shot fake and then dip underneath his defender for run at the cage. This creative offensive prospect can operate from X too. From there Karetsos is a threat to score or feed an open teammate. His speed and elusive stick maneuvers enable Karetsos to shake his defender and then drive up the hash for a jump shot. Lastly, with his non-stop motor, Karetsos is a plus player on the ride.     Lisa is one of the most creative and versatile 2029 face off specialists in the Delaware Valley. His ability to vary techniques and exit strategies keeps his opponent off balance all game. Lisa frequently wins at the dot via clean pick-n-pops that send him racing onto the offensive. Still, it is his use of sweeps, clamp-n-spins, defensive exits, and other face off techniques that really separates him from other 2029 FOGOs in the region. The trifecta of Lisa's quick reactions, powerful clamps and polished footwork enable him to execute this wide variety of moves. Lisa's lacrosse IQ and tremendous situational awareness tells him which move to execute on each draw. Of course, Lisa is capable of dropping to the turf and grinding out a win thanks to his solid frame and bulldog mentality.     Zuccarelli is a multi-sport athlete who is also a standout athlete on the gridiron. On the lacrosse field, that football physicality combined with Zuccarelli's speed enables him to charge through significant contact as he creates scoring opportunities for himself or teammates on the run. Zuccarelli has also shown that he can bully a defender until he gets to a spot on the field of his liking for a rip or to distribute. But make no mistake, with his elusive cuts and polished stick skills, Zuccarelli is capable of playing a finesse game too. Zuccarelli is adept at getting downhill, separating from the initial defender, and then navigating his way through the help defense for a scoring chance around the crease. He can also blow past his man and then slam on the breaks for a rip from 12 to 18 yards out. Zuccarelli's timely off ball movements frequently produce high percentage catch and finish attempts around the net.
