During fall ball action, Springer proved that he is an extraordinary on-ball menace at SSDM. He showcased a physical brand of SSDM, getting into ball carriers early by taking the body or via heavy stick checks. His non-stop motor and quick lateral movements allowed Springer to relentlessly pursue opposing offensive players. Once Springer had caused a turnover, he swiftly pounced on the ground ball and then sprinted out of the defensive end. His ability to pick up GBs in traffic was especially impressive.
