On one fast break opportunity against Hill School, Azzanesi carried the ball over the midfield line, swept across the entire defense, charged down the right-hand alley and then unleashed a rocket that found the back of the net. In 6v6 play, Azzanesi's<strong> </strong>quick burst and change of direction cuts enabled him to find open space for clean shots. This midfielder displayed excellent field vision as he delivered a few creative dimes too. His high energy, attacking style is unique among goalie prospects. Hamilton used his fast hands and polished stick skills to cover the top corners. He also slid post to post or dropped high to low to make several stunning saves. When opponents generated opportunities around the crease, Hamilton remained poised, did not bite on fakes, and then snuffed out those close in attempts. Hamilton also did a tremendous job of tracking perimeter shooters. He did an excellent job of defending ball carriers 1v1, especially behind the net. When Lawler was in help position, he executed well timed slides and double teams. Lawler also showed that he can disrupt passing lanes with his stick. His crafty stick skills and nose for the ball produced several impressive ground ball pickups too. Lawler also proved he can clear the ball via smart passes up the field or by legging it out himself. On defense, Mendez's speed and polished footwork enabled him to harass ball carriers all over the field. His crafty stick checks and lifts produced a host of turnovers. Mendez also showed he could navigate his way through / around screens. Mendez proved to be a plus offensive player in Hill's transition game too. Several times on Saturday, Mendez picked up a ground ball or received a clearing pass and then sprinted into the offensive end to create an odd man break opportunity. The passing skills he displayed in transition were impressive. Rosello was a menacing on ball presence all over the field. His speed and agility enabled Rosello to stay glued to ball carriers and apply constant pressure on their hands. His forceful stick checks were an especially effective method for creating turnovers. Additionally, Rosello did not hesitate to take the body when the moment called for a physical defensive approach. In the midfield area, Rosello did a tremendous job of scooping up ground balls, moving to open space and then firing a pass up the field. He was a plus player in Perkiomen's transition game too.
