Thisathletic multi-sport prospect also excels on the gridiron as a linebacker. On the lacrosse field, Petaccio is a fast, agile, and physical, long stick midfielder. Those assets combined with his crafty stick skills and instincts make Petaccio a ground ball machine. In open space, in a crowd and on the wing during face offs, Petaccio excels at securing GBs on the first attempt and then smartly moving to open space. If the opportunity presents itself, Petaccio will carry the ball into the offensive end and create a fast break scoring chance. Petaccio has also shown that he will not hesitate to take the body to create a turnover. His passing skills and high IQ make Petaccio a plus player in the clearing game too.
