During his standout junior campaign, Benner posted 54 goals to go along with 35 assists as he helped lead D-West to the Ches-Mont League title. It was the second straight season in which this high-skilled, left-handed attackman has registered 60 or more points. So, it should not come as a surprise that Benner recently committed to D3 power Lynchburg College. Benner thrives in the lefty attack spot. His field awareness and high IQ produce well-timed off-ball movements that create easy catch and finish opportunities in close. His ability to work the high crease area for scoring chances is impressive too. The swift release and precise aim on Benner’s shot make him a serious catch and rip threat from GLE as well as the wing. This speedy attack with elusive change of direction moves can also initiate from anywhere on the field. Benner’s is especially dangerous from X, where his ability to string together several cuts and spin moves allows him to cook his initial defender and then dash around the corner for goals around the crease. Additionally, Benner can deliver timely feeds from behind the cage.

Benner is a lefty offensive prospect with the speed, athleticism, and stick skills to run at attack or midfield. This available 2027 has already poured in 46 goals and dished out 30 assists during the 2026 season. Benner recently recorded three goals and four dimes in D-West’s win over Sun Valley. The first item that pops about Benner’s skill set is his off-ball movement. Benner’s field vision and polished stick skills have allowed him to deliver creative passes to teammates.  

During his sophomore campaign,Benner rang up 39 goals and dished out 24 assists for a D-West squad that captured the 2025 Ches-Mont League title. So how college programs are still sleeping on Benner is a mystery. Benner is the prototype lefty attackman. He owns a high IQ and tremendous field awareness. That combination produces timely cuts as well as sweeps which lead to catch and dunk opportunities around the crease. Benner is a sniper from left GLE spot / wing too. In 1v1 scenarios, Benner’s quick feet and deep bag of moves enable him to cook the initial defender and then charge to the net for a shot on the run. If Benner gets to the crease area, his filthy stick skills make him impossible to stop in close. Benner’s ability to smoothly dip underneath defenders for a dash to the net is remarkable. Plus, Benner has repeatedly demonstrated that he can operate from X as a dodger or a feeder. Benner’s endless energy and tenacity make him a pus player in the ride.
