Tyson is a bulldozer who can do more than hold his own in the midfield. He has a high Lacrosse IQ & will stay on to play creating mismatches. Blalock towers on the field & lines up with high hips over the ball to his strength at the X. He is fast-moving like an express train off of the whistle. Tyson has an uppercut swing that finds the net ferociously. He can dodge through stick-physical defenders & overpower you with his body. Blalock is experienced on defense & with his size alone can be a deterrent. He looks to be a bulldog through and through. Verbally committed to Bryant.

Standing at least 6’3 and 200 pounds, the Raleigh native has size that’s rare for the position regardless of level. Winning the lion’s share of the draws to himself whenever I’ve watched him, he’s able to anticipate the whistle and quickly win the ball forward thanks to outstanding speed and technique. However, he’s just as dangerous when he doesn’t win the clamp, bullying opponents with his massive frame and length to gain possession.
