McGregor is a multi-sport athlete who also is a member of his school’s hockey as well as track & field teams. On the lacrosse field this past weekend McGregor proved to be a speedy, agile, and physical two-way midfielder. At the offensive end, McGregor got downhill from up top and scored or dropped dimes while on the run. He also displayed the ability to rip step downs from deep and excelled at pushing transition opportunities. Defensively, McGregor used his athleticism and physicality to provide tenacious on-ball defense. McGregor also executed a handful of well-timed double teams that produced turnovers. Additionally, McGregor pounced on ground balls in traffic and swiftly secured possession.
