College coaches need to stop sleeping on this athletic, two-way pole with significant big game experience. Halpert's combination of size, speed, footwork, and a non-stop motor enable him to operate as a LSM or close defender. At both positions, Halpert will harass ball carriers for extended periods. His ability to run with an offensive player and continuously stay on their hands is impressive. When the time is right, Halpert will use a powerful shoulder or stick check to jar the ball free. Halpert's high IQ and quick reactions make him a standout team defender too. His well-timed slides and double teams frequently produce turnovers. Whether he is on the face off wing or defending at LSM / close, Halpert is a ground ball machine who can scoop and go. His decision making on the fast break is always on point. Lastly, Halpert is an extremely dependable player in the clearing game.

Hays is a dynamic athlete who combines the speed of a track star with the agility of a basketball point guard. When you add in Hays's crafty stick skills and refined footwork, you get a LSM prospect of the highest caliber. Hays is a magician at causing turnovers. He can pursue ball carriers for long stretches and then use a perfectly timed lift, poke or stick check to put the ball on the turf. This lefty pole simply wears out offensive players with his relentless pressure. With his active stick and anticipation skills, Hay also does a fantastic job of deflecting or intercepting ill-advised passes. Once Hays has the ball in his possession, his track-like speed allows him to easily sprint past opposing players. After he explodes into the offensive end, Hays is a threat to fire on net or move the ball to an open teammate. Hays has proven that he can drop down and play close defense too. At close he has shown the ability to play with a physical edge to his game.

Jewell is a multi-sport athlete who is also a highly decorated wrestler. On the lacrosse field, Jewell operates as a fleet footed, intelligent and gritty two-way midfielder. Defensively, Jewell is a tenacious on-ball presence who does a fantastic job of getting into offensive players early in their dodge. He can cause turnovers by taking the body or via a timely crowbar. Jewell also has a knack for barreling into a loose ball scrum and coming out with possession. On offense, Jewell thrives in transition where he can finish or distribute at full speed. In 6v6 action, Jewell's has ability to change directions multiple times in the same run until he finds open space for a shot. During those attacks on the cage, Jewell also does a solid job of keeping his head up and then feeding to open teammates. Jewell is a natural lefty, but he can shoot and distribute with both hands.

Mulhern is a lefty, two-way midfielder with incredible upside. When I watched Mulhern this past summer, the item that popped immediately was his defensive prowess. Mulhern is an instinctive defender with quick reflexes and a long wingspan. That trifecta enabled Mulhern to knife through passing lanes for steals and scoop up contested ground balls. As an on-ball defender Mulhern also snared a few passes right out of the feeder's stick. Mulhern's long strides make it appear as though he is gliding down the field during fast breaks. As the ball carrier on transition opportunities, Mulhern has a perfect feel for when to shoot or distribute. When Mulhern decides to pull the trigger on the break, he can find the back of the net via powerful overhands or precise sidearms. In settled action, Mulhern is a quick twitch dodger who can score or feed on the move.

After his impressive sophomore campaign, Turse was a 1st Team All-Ches Mont selection. Then Turse caught our attention again in July at the A.L.L. Summer Championships where he was a top performer. So, how he is still available is a mystery to us. This athletic and speedy LSM possesses extremely polished stick skills at both ends of the field. Defensively, Turse possesses as deep bag of stick checks, poke and lifts that generate frequent turnovers. He also has a knack for delivering Instagram worthy yard sales. Turse's ability to maneuver his stick while running full speed through traffic is especially impressive. His talent for pulling a ground ball out of crowd and then navigating his way to open space is remarkable as well. At the other end of the field, Turse's shiftiness enables him to carry the ball deep into the offensive zone for a rip on net. In short, Turse is a transition phenom. College coaches will love the way Turse can flip his long pole from his right to his left hand without hesitation.
