Although he started his Maverik campaign slow, he started to turn the corner on Tuesday afternoon, posting six goals and three assists over the final three games of the week. He’s smart and composed with the ball, and even when he wasn’t putting points on the board early on, he showed well and made the appropriate play. Once he started to hit his stride, Thurlow scored on a broken play off the ride, on interior finishes, via a smooth jumper, and on dodges to 5×5.
