The most accurate way to describe Amorim's game is to use a basketball analogy. Amorin operates on the lacrosse field like a scoring point guard would on the hoops court. His field vision, intelligent decisions and quick reactions make Amorim an assist machine. Amorim also appears to understand the value of getting his teammates involved first. He is especially adept a feeding the ball to cutting teammates for easy goals. But Amorim also has an impressive feel for when his team needs him to put the ball in the back of the net. When he is looking to score, Amorim can fire step downs from long range. Or Amorim can get downhill and then rip shots on the move. He is an especially lethal dodger from X. From behind the cage Amorim can elude his defender by using crafty spins or jukes and then turning the corner for a sidearm shot on the run. Amorim also owns enough size and physicality that he can bull his way to the net for quality looks.

Canton is a two-year varsity starter at Moorestown who is one of the most decorated 2027 goalies in New Jersey. He is a two-time 1st Team All- Olympic Conference selection as well as a two-time New Balance All-American. After the 2025 season, Canton garnered a 2nd Team All-State nod too. The first item that pops about Canton's work in the cage is his attacking style. Canton does a tremendous job of cutting down shooting angles by aggressively coming off his line and stepping directly at shooters. When you combine that with his ability to track shooters, Canton is impossible to score on from the perimeter. His poise, fast hands and quick drops make it difficult to score on Canton in close too. Plus, Canton excels at keeping his defense connected with constant communication. On his clearing passes, Canton gets the ball out his stick rapidly and makes smart distribution decisions.

This elusive and highly skilled lefty attackman can initiate from anywhere in the offensive end. From the wing, Cresong can use his devastating stutter step move to blow past his man and then find open space for a clean look. His also threat to catch and quickly rip a shot into the net from the GLE. When he operates from X, Cresong is a precise feeder who can use either hand to hit cutters for goals. Cresong can also change directions several times behind the net, lose his defender and then come around front for a dunk. This Delaware product's instinctive off-ball movements and ability to slip between defenders for a finish make him a dangerous threat around the crease. Cresong's non-stop motor makes him a plus player on the ride, too.

Piffath is a multi-sport athlete (cross country and basketball) who brings a physical presence and defensive versatility to the lacrosse field. As an LSM, Piffath eats ups groundballs, especially when he is on the wing during face offs. With the ball secured, Piffath can leg it out of the defensive zone himself or deliver a smart pass up field to an open teammate. When he drops to close, Piffath is an excellent team defender who can execute timely slides and double teams. In those scenarios, Piffath can create a turnover by taking the body or with a heavy stick check. Piffath is also a poised 1-on-1 defender with a knack for causing turnovers via lifts and pokes. He also frequently stops offensive players with body contact early in their dodge.

The defending 3A state champions lost a host of offensive talent to graduation, so Ryan will be expected to start making major contributions for the Cougars beginning this fall. Good news, from what we witnessed this summer, Ryan has the athleticism and skills to have a significant impact for Springfield as a two-way midfielder. Ryan owns impressive speed, can change directions on a dime and play with either hand. When he gets downhill, Ryan does a fantastic job of maintaining possession in traffic by protecting his stick with his body or maneuvering it to avoid checks. Ryan can fire on the run from multiple angles. He effectively uses bouncers while on the move, too. His field vision and ability to anticipate defensive slides / double teams make Ryan a smooth distributor. Ryan is also capable of hustling back and providing a menacing on-ball presence at SSDM.
