If you’re looking for a disruptive player, Sohngen is that guy. He neutralizes top midfield threats, uses his reach to his advantage, and disrupts offensive flow with poise. His football background adds a level of physicality, field awareness, and aggressiveness to his playing style that many athletes his age don’t have. As a contributor to fast breaks and lockdown defense, you’re going to want to keep an eye out for Sohngen this fall and beyond. All in all, he’s gritty, disruptive, and great at picking up ground balls. He’s equal parts defense and transition specialist.
