The Johns Hopkins commit was being face-guarded from the get-go, but still found ways to make a difference while only grabbing one goal. Other than opening up space, McCleary showed his high IQ in the pick game, most notably when he opened up the game with a well-timed pick, which could’ve essentially counted as an assist for the first goal of the game. He possesses generational-type burst as a split-dodging middie and will excite Blue Jays fans flashbacks with his shake-and-bake move once he laces up his cleats for the first time at Homewood.
