I was already a big fan of Crann’s game, but I’m even higher on the Penn commit after watching him up close at IMG. He has always jumped off the page with his hard-nosed style of play and relentless motor, and those attributes were on full display during his time at the event. A multi-faceted and intelligent player, Crann showed excellent instincts and processed things at a high speed, adjusting admirably to a more fast-paced brand of lacrosse and making the right decisions with more consistency than his peers. He’s dangerous in space and has a really impressive shot on the run, but he’s also great without the ball and always keeps his feet moving to set up scoring chances. This spring, he’ll be even more of a marked man after earning All-ISL honors as a sophomore and posting 68 goals and 28 assists as an attackman.
