He displayed remarkable patience and quick reflexes in response to the ball and made several impressive saves in the early stages of the championship game against Western Reserve. Biese’s off-stick saves and well-executed outlet passes were a significant part of his team’s victory.

Goalies also have it tough in these environments, but Biese stood out early and often. The N.C. native commanded attention right away when he robbed an attackman in a 1v1 right in front of the cage in the first quarter. He made several other notable saves, and looked quick and comfortable moving his hands to save shots fired towards his off-hand.
