The junior face-off specialist is an obvious mention after scoring the game-winner in double overtime to take down Bullis in the semifinals. He capitalized on a fortunate ground ball that popped forward out of a scrum and finished with a well-placed shot low and away to stun the Bulldogs. McBrady went roughly 9-for-15 on the day, while fellow specialist Simon Smith was around 6-for-8, giving St. Albans a dangerous two-headed look at the stripe. While McBrady gets the spotlight, the combination of both creates real depth.
What separates McBrady is his ability to stay on the field and contribute offensively. St. Albans is comfortable letting him play through possessions, but that will only be tested if he can win draws against Army commit

In both the semifinal against Hilltop and the championship game against Mad Dog National in the Naptown Challenge, Jack McBrady showed a strong performance at the faceoff X. When he won draws, it was often because of his quick hands on the clamp and his ability to either pop the ball to himself or effectively involve his wings. In 50/50 scrums, McBrady consistently fought through contact, unafraid to take a hit if it meant gaining possession.
He has a strong mix of size, speed, and ball-handling skills, which makes him a valuable player beyond just winning the clamp. At St. Albans, he regularly competes against Division I-level talent and consistently performs well. McBrady is a 2027 faceoff prospect who should attract more attention from college coaches moving forward.

McBrady is a tough player and uses his hockey background to help him at the face-off X. He displays quick reaction time and strength to get the clamp off the whistle and does a good job of dictating where he pops the ball out to. He can win it behind to himself, between his legs to the wing, or can push transition and get the defense out of position to help his offense work. With his 8 face-off wins vs Triad Elite, he displayed quick hands and good stick skills to win the face-off, evading the pressure and showing confidence with the ball in his stick. When he is left alone on the break, he can make you pay with a hard shot and good accuracy to keep the defenses respecting his ability, but is also unselfish and makes smart plays for his squad.
