About Vincent

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a goalie, I pride myself on being extremely patient and composed in high-pressure situations. My ability to read a shooter’s body language allows me to anticipate their intentions and react with precision. This patience gives me the confidence to hold my position until the exact moment I need to explode toward the ball, making my movements efficient and effective.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love bringing positive energy both on and off the field. Maintaining a relaxed, focused, and fun mindset allows me to play at my best and keep the game feeling calm and controlled. When I’m enjoying myself and supporting the players around me, the game naturally slows down, and I’m able to read plays, make smarter decisions, and perform with confidence.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an active participant in the Putnam County Sheriff’s Cadet Program, where I serve my community. Academically, I was selected for the Health Science Honors Academy, I am also a member of my school’s Ambassador Program, where I help promote the values and mission of my high school. Athletically, I was honored with the Stepinac Crusader Award as a freshman captain, the highest athletic award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through the cadet program I have dedicated the past three years to serving and supporting my community. This experience has strengthened my leadership abilities, sense of responsibility, teamwork and commitment to public service.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the greatest challenges I have faced was transitioning from public school to private school. The shift presented significant social and academic adjustments. Socially, I needed to build an entirely new circle of friends while maintaining strong academic performance. Participating in sports played a key role in this transition; being part of the school’s hockey and lacrosse teams helped me.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am seeking a college where I can continue competing in the sport I’m passionate about while pursuing academic programs that align with my long-term interests. My goal is to contribute to a competitive athletic program while also challenging myself in the classroom. I believe that the combination of high-level athletics and a strong academic environment provides the ideal foundation for success.
