About Jonas

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a shifty attackman who can feed and shoot off the dodge. I always have my head up, and I ride with intensity.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a hard worker, who is committed to self-improvement as well as the success of the team. I lead by example and believe that well done is better than well said.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of Landon Capital Management, a group of students who are entrusted with investing a portion of Landon’s Endowment Fund. I am also VP of Landon’s DECA Chapter, write for the school paper, and contribute to our Families4Families community service club.

With a strong nose for the goal, Hawkins just has a knack for always finding a way to be at the end of plays. He’s super crafty, sneaky off-ball, and can put the ball in the back of the net in a variety of ways. After having a ton of success when dodging from X a day or two earlier at NHSLS, Hawkins showed off his prowess above the cage, scoring on a hitch, a sweep, and off the catch. There’s no doubt that he has a slight frame that he has to add more weight to, but I was impressed with his ability to bounce off of defenders and score through contact. He’s got excellent body control and even better hands, a hallmark of his game, along with his IQ.
