Among them, the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC) stands out as one of the most competitive public high school lacrosse conferences in the nation. Year after year, FCIAC programs produce top-tier Division I talent, boasting not only elite skill but also impressive depth, with many teams carrying around 20 players per class. Alex Whitten took over the program and led it for five years before handing the reins to Chip Buzzeo in 2013.
