Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A hardworking two-way midfielder that brings energy to the game. I distribute the ball or can take it myself, using both my right and left hands. Smart with the ball and if I don’t like what I see I will slow down the play instead of forcing it. I am a competitive team player who you can trust in crunch time.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a laid back person by nature but highly competitive on the field. I lead by example and have no trouble taking a leadership role and controlling the game by running the plays and helping other players know where to be on the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of DECA and have competed at the state level. As a member of the marketing team, I help promote and run the school store as well as compete in the business categories. I also participate in reading to local elementary school kids through the 2nd & 7 program as part as the football leadership team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I consider myself an on field coach. I have enjoyed developing the ability to learn and manage the plays on the field and manage the ball movement and assist players in knowing where to be during crucial moments. I also have learned a lot about leadership through my work with DECA and am now a member of our football leadership committee.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My sophomore season my grandfather passed away and he lives overseas and my parents had to travel overseas for significant amount of time on multiple occasions. This left me to run the household as well as attend school or lacrosse tournaments/games on my own. It allowed me to step up and grow significantly.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am interested in a school where I can not only contribute on the field but off. I am very interested in pursuing a business or education degree but would also be interested in coaching lacrosse after college.
