About Mason

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I focus a lot on being in the right place and backing up my teammates. I ride hips a lot and throw lots of checks.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a chill person off the field, but for whatever reason once I step on I am different. More aggressive, more alert, angrier.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in FFA and the ACBA. I have gotten awards from both organizations.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I make sure to hold myself and my teammates accountable. I have started to lead a bit more than normal because we have a lot of younger guys. I check in with anyone who seems to be off and make sure they are all good.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Last season I was not being as big of a presence on the field as I normally was. I ended up not starting a game or two, but then battled my way back to being in a starting position.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that is relaxed and not very high strung. I like agriculture, so I college with a good agricultural program would be great. I would like to stay in Kentucky to use my KEES money, but I am open to out of state.
