About Joseph

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a hardworking and gritty player that will give all of my effort on every play. I run full force at any challenge that comes my way and use my strength, speed, athleticism, and motor to place me in successful positions.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very ambitious person that loves to be challenged and push myself. I am constantly trying to work harder than I previously have and am looking for new goals to strive for daily.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in the Business and Finance Club, Amnesty International, Choate Political Union, and am the drummer in the Jazz Band. I have also been selected to the Dean’s list every single term so far at Choate Rosemary Hall and have won academic awards at my previous school such as the 8th Grade Science Award at Hamden Hall.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I always try to assume the leadership position in any place I am, whether that entails uplifting people or giving them positive criticism. At my previous school, I was awarded the Robert H. Schroeder Sportsmanship and leadership award. I have taken this role on my sports teams, in my classrooms, and in my clubs. I also actively participate in community service, working at the local Soup Kitchen.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with rigorous academics as well as a competitive lacrosse program and atmosphere.
