2028 Northeast Rankings: Introducing The Top 100 (FREE)
There's a common misconception among hte public that if a publication doesn't rank a player in the Top 100 — or, by other metrics, give them at least four stats — evaluators aren't high on them.
Quite frankly, there's entirely too much depth and too many excellent up-and-coming lacrosse recruits on a national level for that logic to hold any water. That's why we've made it a point to expand our rankings to the regional level: to showcase just how much talent is coming out of each part of the country, especially the underrepresented West, South, and Midwest regions that we rolled out in
Though the even number was merely a coincidence, 50 players from schools in the Northeast — New York and all of New England — cracked our National Top 100. And while those final spots are historically agonizing to decide on, the margins are incredibly slim.
That was certainly the case with this Northeast exercise, as several players who just missed out will ultimately wind up playing at great Division I programs. They're on our board for a reason, and many have already made visits to college programs in the week since the recruiting window opened.
From nationally ranked No. 1 Landen O'Neil to No. 50 Teddy Baum to those ranked 51-100, there's tremendous promise among this group, and many of these evaluations were validated through dozens of conversations with a who's who of college coaches.
And for those who have yet to solidify a collegiate home in the past few days, there's still plenty of time to do so in the weeks and months to come. Beyond that, dozens of players who didn't crack this list will eventually find their way onto it in due time.
