A 2026 who was 2027 reclass eligible (and thus, played with that age group this summer), Burman announced his commitment to Rutgers earlier this month, and the Scarlet Knights are getting an incredibly active pole. His presence was felt throughout the game, both as Hill jumped out to a commanding first-half lead and as the Pride held off the Cardinals' second-half comeback attempt. His stick work is a hallmark of his game, and he uses it better than most defenders his age. He caused a turnover on a great lift in the first quarter to force a pass off-target, then punched the sky on a nasty over-the-head check at midfield late in the third quarter against Calvert Hall's best midfielder. Burman will need to learn that there's a time and a place for those OTH checks, but that's easily fixable, and he makes so many plays that it's something that coaches can live with right now.

Campbell, a left-handed Robert Morris commit, plays bigger than he is and is an exciting player to watch. He stacked impactful plays on Tuesday afternoon, consistently knocking down passes, picking pockets with disruptive checks, and getting the ball off the ground before moving it upfield. Campbell has terrific instincts, and he does a really nice job of staying man-conscious away from the ball. If I'm not mistaken, he made plays that directly led to two goals on the other end. He was active on the clear, showing a strong handle while evading opponents looking to take the ball away from him. Although unassuming upon first glance, he undoubtedly influenced the outcome of the game and will be a key piece of the puzzle for Hill moving forward.

Costigan is a smooth and savvy playmaker who created a ton of offense out of the midfield and did so with flair. On his first tally, he recognized that he was matched up with an O-middie on the wing. From there, Costigan made his way towards the goal near GLE, faked a pass to the inside, raised his stick high above his head, and netted a pretty high bouncer. On his next big play as the clock wound down in the first half, he dodged a poor approach, jumped up in the air to make the goalie move, then flung a cross-crease pass over to [player_tooltip player_id='126861' first='Dylan' last='Sanderson'] for a demoralizing finish to put Hill up 9-1. Costigan seems to get underneath defenses at will and make them uncomfortable, and he's a tough matchup due to his ability to both score and feed at an exceptional level.

Simply put, Ford's six-goal, one-assist performance on Tuesday was sublime. In the first half, he scored four consecutive goals and then assisted on another, and did it all with authority in a variety of ways. Ford is by no means a blazer athletically, but he has excellent footwork and a knack for getting his hands free, often utilizing hard jab steps or rocker moves. His hands and wrists are rather ridiculous, and his release is as pretty as it gets, making it nearly impossible for goalies to get a read. The ball explodes out of his stick when he's shooting from range, and he's got super soft hands that allow him to one-touch shots on quick-stick opportunities like he did on Tuesday. Unfazed by contact, he's incredibly poised and can put the ball in the back of the net under duress with relative ease. He looks every bit a player who will come in and seize a significant role at Richmond as a freshman.

Yet another lefty, Haynes is a multi-faceted defender who possesses an off-the-charts compete level. In particular, it's on display when he's hunting for groundballs, as he kicks things into an entirely different gear when the ball is on the ground. Watching the game back on tape, I was impressed with his situational awareness, like goosing the ball to a teammate in traffic to allow Hill to come up with an important possession. His stick work was clean, and his GB's were timely. Thanks to a noticeably strong lower body, Haynes didn't budge on-ball. He was constantly confrontational, serving as a big reason why some of Calvert Hall's known commodities offensively weren't able to get much of anything going.
