He's put together an impressive early résumé, highlighted by Goalie MVP honors at The Spotlight, widely regarded as the premier event for freshmen. Blessed with outstanding hands, he takes up a good amount of the cage and plays with an infectious, high-motor energy. Caldroney moves smoothly from pipe to pipe, does an excellent job controlling rebounds, and is assertive out of the cage, pushing transition himself when opportunities arise. With top-ranked 2027 Moe Sobel transferring to IMG this offseason, the younger Caldroney will need to bide his time before stepping into a starting role, but he's sure to log plenty of high-quality reps in a program like IMG.

Exuding confidence in the cage, Devlin is a left-handed stopper with tremendous upside. He also feels like a safe bet, coming from a program known as a preeminent goalie factory, and he'll be among those competing to ultimately fill the big shoes of five-star Kieran Walsh (Notre Dame) upon his graduation this spring. For someone who stands 5-foot-9, Devlin takes up a ton of cage and makes shooters work for every shot. His work at the NLF Fall Invitational particularly stood out, as he showed the propensity for making stunning saves that he has no business making. Blessed with elite hands, Devlin does an outstanding job of preventing rebound opportunities and is fundamentally sound in every sense.

Wiry and exceptionally light on his feet, Hutson brings a high level of twitchiness and athleticism to the cage. He's the type of goalie who always seems to get a piece of everything thrown his way, with a knack for committing robberies and matching sticks 1-on-1. Despite his high-energy play, he's always in control, relying on sound footwork and strong fundamentals to stay balanced. In the clearing game, Hutson leverages his athleticism effectively, showing patience and decisiveness with his outlets. A Pennsylvania native who boards at Georgetown Prep, he produced impressive tape during his All-Tournament performance with Team Baltimore at the New Balance All-America event. Certainly good enough to push for a starting role as a freshman, Hutson is expected to do so even with the Little Hoyas returning a talented 2028 keeper who started last season.

Poised and unflappable between the pipes, Reinhardt has a presence that's uncommon for a keeper his age. He put together a highly impressive fall and winter campaign, closing out 2025 by earning Defensive MVP honors at the One Percent Showcase. The 5-foot-9 lefty boasts an explosive top hand that allows him to turn high shots into popcorn, with a knack for gobbling up offside high offerings. He plays his angles exceptionally well and will come out towards the edge of the crease to cut them down. Reinhardt's footwork and positioning stand out, as does his ability to catch the ball cleanly and get outlets up and out. It would not be remotely surprising to see him win the starting job as a freshman.

"Fiery, energetic, and poised” were the first notes I jotted down on Wehrheim at NHSLS in November—and he backed them up. He plays like a keeper with varsity experience because he has it, having started as an eighth grader for one of upstate New York's more reputable programs. Just a shade under 6'0, he's superb on low shots, flashing ridiculous reaction time as he reads and reacts. A hockey player as well, Wehrheim consistently showed his aggressiveness and athleticism outside the crease, proving he's more than comfortable clearing the ball over the midline. Despite his youth, defenses play with confidence in front of him, and even when things broke down, he rose to the moment, robbing shooters in tight.

We're onto the seventh installment of our series spotlighting 2029 prospects to keep an eye on, this time turning our focus to the goalie position.
