Klein first caught our attention at last summer's Naptown Challenge after this two-way mid helped pushed Mad Dog National Gold to the 2027 division title. His menacing on-ball defense and caused turnovers were a major part of Mad Dog's run to the Naptown championship hardware. Klein does a fantastic job of generating turnovers via heavy stick checks and well-timed crow bars as well as by taking the body. This tenacious prospect with an active stick also vacuums up ground balls. Klein's speed and athleticism enable him to scoop a GB and then race down the field for a transition opportunity. His ability to shoot or distribute while on the dead sprint is impressive. Klein has also proven that he can stay on the field during 6v6 action and work as an initiator. Earlier this month Klein committed to Quinnipiac.

The Colgate staff must be ecstatic about receiving a verbal commitment from this big, athletic, and versatile prospect. During his sophomore campaign Maurer played O-Mid as well as SSDM and even some attack. Last spring Maurer scored 42 goals and secured 44 ground balls. Maurer excels at pushing the fast break for a goal or an assist. His shifty moves and ability to run through contact enable Maurer to frequently go coast to coast. In settled action, Maurer is at his best when he gets downhill from up top and then fires a shot from 12-15 yards out while on the run. He also owns the elusive moves needed to avoid sliding poles and charge all the way to the net for an overhand dunk. From up top or the wing, Maurer does a tremendous job of moving the opposing defense with his eyes, a stick fake, or a quick dodge and then threading a dime to an open teammate. His ability to operate from X will catch opponents by surprise.

In mid-January, Mitchell committed to Stony Brook and the Seawolves landed an absolute game changer in this face off specialist. Mitchell is a multi-skilled FOGO who wins a high percentage of draws via clean clamps thanks to his refined techniques, quick reaction time and powerful hands. Mitchell will then explode into the offensive end where he is a legitimate threat to fire the ball into the back of the net. But Mitchell has keen instincts as well as incredible field awareness, so he does not hold the ball too long and at the right moment, he will distribute to an open teammate. Mitchell has also proven that he can use his solid base to play a physical brand of FOGO. At times, Mitchell will rotate and box out his opponent until he can secure possession. This crafty prospect also does a fantastic job using a shoulder check to throw his opponent off-balance. Mitchell will then pounce on the loose ball. Of course, Mitchell can drop to turf and grind out a win too.

Mullins is the latest addition to what has become an impressive 2027 recruiting class for Mount St. Mary's. This gifted pole owns size, speed, agility, and an active stick. That list of assets combined with his high IQ enables Mullins to run at LSM or close defense. As an LSM, Mullins is extremely capable of pursuing ball carriers on the perimeter for long stretches. When he eventually strips the offensive player of the ball, he will snare the GB and then push the fast break. The Mount coaching staff will love the way Mullins can dominate action between the restraining lines. At close defense, the combination of his anticipation skills and physicality allows Mullins to turn the offensive player numerous times during a possession. Additionally, when Mullins is down low, he frequently disrupts passing lanes with his stick. Mullins also does an excellent job of clearing the ball via smart up field passes.

Parrott recently committed to Utah and the Utes have landed a long, well-built offensive prospect who owns serious shake. Parrott's combination of size, speed, foot work and stick skills presents major matchup problems for opposing defenses. His quick burst and downhill speed are too much for lumbering poles to handle. Meanwhile, Parrott's size and ability to bull his way past the initial defender renders SSDMs helpless against him. Once he gotten past the initial defender, Parrott can rip on net or use his field vision to distribute to an open teammate. The Utah coaching staff will love Parrott's creative finishes around the crease and the fact that he can score with either hand. Parrot owns a wicked outside shot that he will cut loose from GLE or the wing. He is especially adept a firing a bouncer past opposing goalies. When he rotates to X-attack, Parrott can come around the corner for a goal or feed cutters. This athletic 2027 has flashed the ability to run at midfield too.
