The three close defenders and the SSDM who started for Radnor in the 2025 3A state championship game all graduated last spring. So, while Radnor's “new” defensive unit is finding its footing, Curry remained a brick wall in net. His quick reactions, fast hands and active stick enabled Curry to cover the top of the cage with ease. Curry's swift, but controlled drops allowed him to make difficult low saves appear routine. The number of clean saves Curry made was remarkable. Curry's ability to track shooters on the perimeter was impressive too. Finally, this standout sophomore goalie continued to show a level of poise and a high IQ that is beyond his years.

Last Sunday,Dwyer proved to be an athletic and physical defensive force for La Salle. His smooth lateral movements and anticipation skills enabled Dwyer to stay tight to ball carriers all day. His tenacious on-ball presence created a host of turnovers for the Explorers. Included in Dwyer's incredible on-ball defense were a couple of well-timed crowbars. Dwyer also displayed fantastic ground balls skills as he snagged several GBs in heavy traffic. His speed and decision making made Dwyer a plus player in transition.

The first two items that popped about Flesher was imposing size and large wingspan. Last Sunday, those assets combined with his polished footwork and active stick, to create a smothering on-ball defender. Flesher's ability to turn an offensive player multiple times was impressive. His crafty stick checks and pokes applied constant pressure on ball carrier's hands. Flesher also proved to be a top-flight team defender whose slides and double teams were on point. On a couple of possessions, Flesher knocked down or intercepted ill-advised passes. Flesher is committed to RPI, and it's obvious the Engineers landed a gem in this multi-skilled pole.

The graduation of Springfield's decorated Class of 2025 opened a few holes in their defense for next spring. But this past weekend, the athletic and versatile Wainwright showed that he is ready to potentially plug one of those needs. This speedy pole with a high motor and impressive quick twitch skills was a disruptive force on defense. He provided tenacious on-ball defense, clogged up passing lanes with his stick and was a ground ball machine. The combination of Wainwright's high IQ and anticipation skills produced physical slides and double teams that caused turnovers. Wainwright also demonstrated that he could push the ball up field to create transition opportunities for Springfield.

This well-rounded offensive prospect is committed to Mercyhurst and at the NJ vs. Philly Fall Challenge it was easy to see why that coaching staff recruited Webster. Webster is long and athletic prospect who proved he could operate at both attack and midfield. At attack, Webster excelled off ball as he used backdoor cuts, drifts and sweeps to generate scoring opportunities in close. He also delivered a few beautiful feeds from X. At midfield, Webster initiated from up top as well as the wing, navigated his way through sliding defenders and then ripped shots while on the move. Out on the perimeter, Webster also showcased a powerful as well as accurate step-down shot. Webster's non-stop motor made him a key part of SJP's ride game.
