These days the label “two-way midfielder” is used frequently in prospect scouting reports. But at the Philly Fall HS Challenge, Dumais redefined that lacrosse term as he made extraordinary contributions on both ends of the field for Hill School. On defense, Dumais worked as a menacing SSDM who created a slew of turnovers. Dumais used crafty sticks checks and lifts as well as forceful crowbars and body checks to cause those turnovers. Once the ball hit the turf, his active stick and nose for the ball enabled Dumais to pounce on the GBs. His speed and elusive moves then carried Dumais into the offensive end for a transition scoring opportunity. Dumais displayed serious sake on a few coast-to-coast runs where he found the back of the net. In 6v6 action, Dumais initiated from everywhere on the field and then scored or distributed while on the move. He also caught a couple of defenders by surprise with his ability to dip underneath for a charge at the net. His quick burst and non-stop motor enabled Dumais to be a highly impactful presence on the face off wing too. Dumais is committed to RPI (D3). The Engineers landed a talented and high IQ prospect who I predict is headed for a monster senior season.

This past summer Jamison transferred to the Perkiomen School from Sewickley Academy in Pittsburgh. From what I saw last Saturday on the lacrosse field, Jamison has settled in nicely with his new teammates. At the Philly Fall HS Challenge, Jamison's imposing size combined with his fast hands and quick reactions made him a brick wall in net. His ability to track shooters and cut down the angle led to several impressive clean saves. On the rare occasion when there was a rebound, Jamison was quick to scramble and secure the loose ball. For a sophomore Jamison displayed extreme poise and did a fantastic job of communicating with his teammates. Jamison also delivered smart and timely clearing passes.

Kaunert is committed to the University of Scranton (D3), and this past Saturday it was easy to see why the Royals are bringing this 2026 prospect into their program. Kaunert is a versatile midfielder who during the Philly Fall HS Challenge excelled at generating stops as a SSDM. His smooth lateral movements and anticipation skills enabled Kaunert to frequently beat offensive players to a spot. His ability to turn a ball carrier multiple times in a single possession was impressive. Kaunert also displayed a high defensive IQ as he flawlessly executed switches, double teams, and recoveries. Additionally, Kaunert's speed and change of direction moves allowed him to push several transition opportunities. Kaunert flashed nifty offensive stick skills too.

Kropp is a fast and solidly built attackman who last weekend showcased a well-rounded skill set. His quick release and precise shot made Kropp an effective scoring threat from GLE. Kropp initiated from the wing, swept over the top of the opposing defense, found open space, and then fired while on the run. He also dodged from X, dashed around the corner, and then scored around the crease. Kropp was effective in two-man game action as both the ball carrier and the screener. His ability to roll / pop after setting a screen and then quickly fire a shot on net was impressive. The combination of Kropp's field vision and unselfish nature produced several creative dimes. Kropp is committed to LIU

At the Philly Fall HS Challenge Proctor further cemented his reputation as one Pennsylvania's most athletic and agile face off specialists. This dynamic multi-sport prospect (also plays football and runs track) repeatedly executed clean pick-n-pops, then exploded out of the face off area and sprinted into the offensive end to create a scoring opportunity for SJP. Last Saturday Proctor proved to be a dual threat while on the run as he scored and distributed to open teammates. Proctor's ability to run through stick checks and contact as he charged to the cage was remarkable. Proctor also showed that he valued possession by not taking unnecessary risks in the offensive end. When action at the dot became chaotic, Proctor relentlessly pursued the ball until he was able to secure possession.
