Both the face-off specialists and goalies showcased advanced technique, composure, and confidence well beyond their age. From dominant performances at the stripe to highlight-reel saves in tight, these players proved they're on a fast track toward becoming next-level prospects. Here's a look at some of the 2028 specialists who stood out:    Few goalies impressed more at the IL ID Experience than Michael Attubato. His athleticism, lightning-fast hands, and pure reaction time immediately stood out. In the cage, Attubato moved pipe-to-pipe with precision and efficiency—rarely wasting a step or motion. His quick-twitch reflexes allowed him to rob shooters who seemed to have him beat, often making last-second kick saves or body stops that turned into highlights.   Beyond his shot-stopping, Attubato's outlets were next-level. He fired pinpoint passes with the speed and accuracy of an attackman, jumpstarting transition in an instant. With his combination of athleticism, hand speed, and confidence, Attubato proved he's one of the premier young goalies in the 2028 class—and a name to remember moving forward.     Standing at 6'2", Noah Benney brings a big frame and even bigger presence to the cage. His confidence stood out most at the Inside Lacrosse ID Experience—he plays with complete trust in his technique and positioning. Benney steps to shooters with purpose, cutting down angles and forcing them to earn every goal. His strength is against high shots, but he also commits fully on low saves, often sprawling out across the crease to get a piece of the ball.   In the clearing game, Benney takes command as the leader of the defense. He communicates constantly, directs his middies, and helps his unit make the right reads to beat opposing rides. With his size, poise, and vocal leadership, Benney profiles as a confident, next-level goalie with a commanding presence in the crease.     At 6'2" with a wide base, Aidan Slocum takes up a ton of the cage and makes shooters earn everything. His size alone makes him a tough read, but it's his explosive movement that truly sets him apart. Out of his crouched stance, Slocum reacts with force—snapping to high shots with quick hands and firing his body or legs at low attempts without hesitation.   He brings both athleticism and intensity to every rep, combining a strong technical base with fearless reactions. In the clearing game, he gets the ball out quickly and accurately to jumpstart transition. Judging by pure numbers, Luke Druhot was one of the most dominant faceoff specialists at the IL ID Experience. But the stats only tell part of the story—his technical depth and confidence at the X made him stand out even more. He was consistently strong on the clamp, using his quick hands and leverage to win cleanly, while his rake and swipe counters proved nearly impossible for opponents to time.     Andrew Grosso was one of the top face-off specialists at the Inside Lacrosse ID Experience—and one of the clear favorites among his teammates. What stood out most was his strength and tenacity at the stripe. Grosso brings a wrestler's mentality to every battle, using his full body to gain leverage and rip the ball free to secure possessions.   Off the whistle, he consistently controlled the ground-ball game, staying composed with the ball in his stick and turning defense into offense. He even found the back of the net himself, adding to a growing highlight reel filled with goals in transition. With his combination of strength, toughness, and confidence, Grosso has the makings of one of the most competitive 2028 faceoff specialists in the country.
