As we approach late September, college coaches are looking to find that next wave of talent, and there's plenty of it available in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Following up on Monday's post on some of the very best uncommitted '27s in VA, we're highlighting five more juniors worthy of a look.

Possessing raw athleticism and a lanky 6'2, 170-pound frame, Bruce has shown some promise at the SSDM position. The lefty showed flashes during some highly competitive games on the first day of Naptown, coming up big off the wing and showing well in the middle of the field. Bruce has strong lateral footwork and is formidable when it comes to covering the ball behind the cage and at GLE when called upon. He plays angles well, and if and when he gets beat, he has the speed to make a recovery and get back in position. Moving forward, I'd like to see him initiate contact more frequently and continue to be more consistent with his technique, so I'll be curious to see what kind of strides he's made when he's out there on the November circuit.

Early in the summer, Forsythe asserted himself nicely with a pair of goals in the final round of games at Maverik Showtime, then continued to find success throughout the circuit. Another standout for DC Express, Forsythe is a reliable goal-scorer who gets the job done in a multitude of ways. He handles contact well and has excellent hands that allow him to finish with creativity after serving as the beneficiary of his teammates' dodges. In addition, he's great at taking advantage of poor approaches and shortstick matchups, and has a knack for finding the net when re-dodging. Routinely hitting the 'one more' assist, it would be fair to say that Forsythe is underrated as a passer, too, though he already has 66 assists through two years as a starter on top of his 73 goals.

Grasty is a Charlotte, N.C. native who transferred to Episcopal School in Alexandria, Va. and wasted no time making his presence felt, garnering All-DMV honorable mention recognition and catching my eye at the InterAc vs. IAC Challenge. Energetic and disruptive, Grasty is a bona fide pest with his incredibly active stick. He attacks the ball-carrier's bottom hand, puts the ball on the carpet, and picks up first-time groundballs. Sliding with authority, he's also adept at playing fundamentally sound defense without throwing his stick around, and excels at moving the ball upfield in transition. I'm a fan at how well he can provide coverage both down low and at the top of the box at LSM, too. Quite frankly, it's a bit of a surprise that he has yet to come off the board, as he'd be an excellent fit at a top mid-major.

On Monday, we featured St. Christopher's junior [player_tooltip player_id='165179' first='Bowan' last='Ireland'], who holds a plethora of school records. Today, we're directing the spotlight over to his linemate, whose 90 points last spring rank third in program history. Posting 56 goals and 34 assists, Mack utilized his strong first step, excellent mid-range shot, and sound decision-making to put up big totals for the Saints while earning First Team All-Metro recognition. He constantly got underneath defenses when making plays from above GLE, but also has a nice repertoire at 5x5 when attacking from behind the cage. Mack loves to free up his hands with a pretty little hitch move, and he has the two-handedness to beat defenders and goalies with his off-hand when his right gets taken away. A marksman in transition, he's got great hands and catches just about everything in his radius despite being a touch undersized, though he's got plenty of attributes to compensate.

Part of an incredibly talented SSDM unit for the Hawks, Taliaferro is a promising prospect whose gritty mindset and competitive energy are always on display. He's confrontational and makes opposing midfielders — even ones with a distinct size advantage — work hard for their opportunities, staying glued to their hip. Getting underneath of guys to cause disruption, he only throws checks when necessary and doesn't overdo it. With his athleticism and determination with the ball in his stick, he's a tremendous asset in the clearing game. Taliaferro is a bit of a pitbull when the ball is on the ground, so he gives his teams a boost off the wings as well. After transferring from St. Mary's (Md.) after his freshman year, he put forth some really impressive film as a PVI sophomore and showed well on the summer circuit.

As we approach late September, college coaches are looking to find that next wave of talent, and there's plenty of it available in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Following up on Monday's post on some of the very best uncommitted '27s in VA, we're highlighting five more juniors worthy of a look.
