The first item that pops about Burnetta is his ability to play at a high-level with both hands. That skill made it extremely difficult for defenders to anticipate what Burnetta will do. Burnetta also displayed positional versatility as he was comfortable operating at X or on the wing. From behind the net, Burnetta's shifty moves enabled him to easily escape from the initial defender. Once he has gained open space, Burnetta ripped shots as he turned the corner or came all the way around front and finished with a dunk. Burnetta also did a fantastic job of distributing from X. On the wing, Burnetta was a devastating shooter. He pinged corners or beat goalies off-hip. College coaches will love his quick catch and shoot skills as there was no wasted movements on his release. Lastly, Burnetta repeatedly proved that he was willing to run sideline to sideline on the ride.

Cramer is an attackman with size, an explosive first step and polished stick skills. He used those assets to generate offense from behind the net as well as on the wing. When he was operating at X, Cramer blew past his man, turned the corner, and then finished in close. Cramer's inside rolls were an especially effective finishing move. Cramer also changed directions behind the cage several times, lost his defender, enticed a slide, and then fed to a cutting teammate. Out on the wing, Cramer's elusive moves enabled him to shake his initial defender, find open space and then rip shots on the run. Off-ball, Cramer showed an instinctive feel for when to cut behind a defender's helmet for an easy scoring opportunity. As a bonus to his offensive skills, Cramer was a menacing presence on rides.

Stockton was one of the most athletic goalies we watched this summer. That athleticism combined with his quick-twitch movements and flexibility enabled Stockton to cover the entire cage with ease. Stockton's ability to fire his hands in all directions produced clean saves all month. Stockton also excelled at dropping to make low saves with his body or stick. Once the ball was in his possession, Stockton quickly delivered precise clearing passes. His knack for getting the ball out of his mesh and up the field rapidly frequently triggered fast break chances for Mesa 2027s. College coaches will obsess over how well Stockton tracks shooters despite significant traffic in front of the net.

A host of LSMs have an aggressive approach to defending the ball carrier and causing turnovers, but Uhrich takes that mentality to another level. This summer, Uhrich appeared to hunt turnovers as he applied unrelenting pressure on offensive players. Uhrich's trifecta of his polished footwork, quick hands, and anticipation skills kept offensive players running for their lives. Eventually that offensive player would make a mistake, and then Uhrich would strike with a well-timed lift or check that jarred the ball loose. Uhrich's ability to then scoop up the ground ball in traffic was impressive too. His speed and instincts allowed Uhrich to push the rock in transition and generate scoring opportunities. In July Uhrich also displayed that he can play a physical brand of LSM when needed.

College coaches will love this lefty multi-sport athlete (also plays ice hockey) who demonstrated that he could play midfield or attack. During July, Young unleashed rockets while on the move as well as via step-downs. His ability to change levels / angles on his shots created serious challenges for opposing goalies. Young owns a deep bag of moves that got him to his favorite shooting spots. His face-dodges and shoulder dips were especially effective fakes. Young also displayed the ability to run through significant contact as he drove to the net for a close-in scoring opportunities. Additionally, this versatile prospect proved to be a smooth operator in two-man game sets.
