On June 26th, True Lacrosse hosted the Thrive Showcase, a 12 pm-5 pm half-day recruiting event, at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers, New York. Below are the standout players and everything you need to know about these eight young athletes from the 2026 & 2027 graduating classes.    Kaas isn't just a finisher; he is a key part of moving the ball down the field. He excels at creating opportunities for his team, dodging his defender, scooping ground balls, and using quickness to his advantage. He makes good decisions on the fly and always has his head up. His jump shot is lethal, along with his resilience and leadership qualities. Kaas is a threat across the board, totaling 28 goals and 9 assists during this past high school season.     Mayclim is a level-headed lefty. This past season, he racked up 33 goals and 12 assists for his team. He has incredible shot placement and great hand-eye coordination. Mayclim is sure to make his presence on the field known, in a good way.     Defensive face-off specialists are rare and valuable players for any team to have. They are rare bread, but Fehsal is a textbook example. He has grit, field awareness, and next level stick skills. He isn't afraid to push a transition either, making him that much more of an asset. Throughout the 2024-2025 high school season, Fehsal totaled 80 ground balls, 54 caused turnovers, 6 goals, and 2 assists. He is one of the hardest-working individuals I've seen.     As a junior captain, Kinsley knows what's up. He sets the tone both on and off the field. He is physical and has a lacrosse knowledge like no other. Scoring 14 goals, 17 assists, 158 ground balls, and 200 caused turnovers, it's clear that Kinsley is a sharp athlete with a promising future.     A left-handed goalie is like a diamond in the ruff; nothing throws a shooter off more than seeing on stick on the opposite side they are used to. Fehsal makes clutch saves and showcases phenomenal hand-eye coordination. He has composure no matter the circumstance and stays focused on the task at hand. He is a disciplined young player with a mental toughness beyond his years.     With a 0.757 face-off win percentage, Idi is ranked 19th in the state of New York. He is a coachable kid with a disciplined and aggressive playing style. Idi is also a multi-sport athlete who takes advantage of the knowledge learned elsewhere and applies it to the turf.     With a high school team that isn't so hot, Rosen scored 42 of his team's 52 goals in 2024. He was recognized as one of the top 10 scorers in the Section 1 area because of this. He is a driven left-handed player ready for anything life throws at him.     Jimenez is an all-around team player. He connects with the open player, creating beautiful give-and-go plays. Although he seemed to gravitate to X, he did great at almost every spot he was placed on the field. His versatility is admirable. Communication was also a strong part of his game. Being able to effectively communicate with teammates is a key part of the game and a hard thing to teach, but Jimenez is a prime example of a natural talent.
