Prep Lacrosse National High School Rankings: Week 9

Relative to the chaos that the high school lacrosse landscape has experienced earlier in the year, it was a fairly ho-hum week, with only one Top 10 team (Salisbury) suffering a loss.

The most notable result occurred in Philly, where newly ranked Episcopal Academy (Pa.) pulled out a thrilling 8-7 win over Haverford (Pa.) to earn a share of the Inter-Ac title with the Fords and Friars of Malvern Prep. Up in New England, St. Sebastian's (Mass.) and Belmont Hill (Mass.) fell out of the rankings after experiencing surprising upset losses to Noble & Greenough (Mass.) and Middlesex (Mass.), respectively.

St. Xavier (Ohio) also dropped out of the rankings after falling to Western Reserve (Ohio), and the Pioneers move back in this week, as did New Canaan (Conn.).

With several more playoff matchups set to take place this week, look for movement to take place in next week's Week 10 ranking.
