[player_tooltip player_id='123106' first='Dylan' last='Porges'] is an exceptional face-off specialist at Horace Mann and a standout player for Team 91 Long Island Storm. Known for his lightning-fast hands and strategic approach to face-offs, Dylan excels at controlling the direction of the ball. Despite being on the smaller side, Dylan's low center of gravity allows him to get lower to the ball, using both his quick hands and sharp decision-making to dominate the X. He is also great at adapting to his opponent's strengths and weaknesses, quickly assessing how to adjust his technique to beat his rival face-off specialist. Additionally, his ground ball skills are top-notch, with a remarkable ability to dig out and secure loose balls in scrums. A true "Swiss Army knife" at the face-off position, Dylan can pinch and pop for a fast break, win the ball behind himself for a controlled ground ball, and direct his wings to raise the percentage of team possessions and maximize the impact of his team's play. His versatility, adaptability, and strategic playmaking make him a key asset in any face-off scenario.

Jack DiFranco is an elite defender from Choate Rosemary Hall and a standout player for Express North. Standing at 6'6" and weighing 225 pounds, Jack uses his imposing frame to dominate on the field, particularly in on-ball defense. His strength and size allow him to overpower his opponents, consistently securing possession of the ball and initiating the clear. Jack is the go-to defender when tasked with neutralizing an opposing team's biggest and strongest attackmen, as his physicality and presence make it nearly impossible for bigger attackmen to use their body to gain an advantage. Whether it's rolling off the shoulder to get inside on the crease or attempting to power through on a top-side dodge, Jack simply doesn't allow these moves to succeed. His playing style is reminiscent of a football center, with exceptional footwork for his size, allowing him to stay in front of dodgers, especially when defending from X or when an attackman is dodging towards GLE. Jack's combination of size, strength, and footwork makes him a nightmare for opposing attackmen and a key asset to any defense.
