Players That Made Waves at Summer Showdown – 2026’s and 2027’s

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On July 13th and 14th, players from around the Midwest gathered in Saint Joseph, Michigan, for Fresh Coast Tournaments Summer Showdown. Ohio and Michigan both had skilled players at the event. Whenever I watched him, he would dodge past his defender and immediately know where he wanted to move the ball, or shoot it. He was one of the most active and aggressive defenders at the event. Using strong, accurate, and timely checks, Duggins challenged ground balls and made it tough for anyone he was defending. He matched feet well and played solid, physical defense. He handled pressure well, powering through contact and checks, which made him difficult to contain. He recognizes where the ball carrier is going, where the defense is moving, and puts himself in scoring spaces. He does a lot of damage on the backside and in the middle of the field. He dodges downhill and uses roll dodges effectively, bouncing off contact and soaking checks.
