He changed planes on many of his shots, making it difficult for the goalies to anticipate them. He fearlessly powered through contact and carried the ball productively when under pressure. He consistently made plays, whether he was dodging, shooting, passing, riding, or running after ground balls. He frequently dodged down the alley, using his speed to free his hands. This resulted in multiple goals. On more than one occasion, he ran through a weak stick check on his way to the goal, keeping his eyes up in case there was an open man. He is also a skilled and deceptive shooter, capable of shooting around defenders. He stands tall and takes up a good portion of the cage. Stallings was quick to react to and trap the ball on low saves and showed patience when waiting for the shot.
